BIOGRAPHY
Redentor,
a.k.a. Red, was born in the Philippines. Red moved to New Jersey
when he was 10, and he's been here ever since. His love for
rock and roll was fixed after first hearing "Hey
Jude" by the Beatles. As a small boy in the islands, he'd always
carry around the words of this song, torn from a lyric book and tucked in
his back pocket... a near reminder of how a good song should be written.
Having
no formal musical training, Red learned the art form from listening and
observing various artists to formulate his own songwriting and performing
style. His words are carefully crafted based on life experiences and
common stories with lyrical twists. The melody and music can be traced
back to the grass roots of American folk and ballads, 50s innocence, 60s
pop and classic rock and roll - but Red's songs are all his own.
Red fronts the original NJ based band, RED REYNE (www.RedReyne.com)
who are currently performing in the tri-state area.
