On Aug 25th, EYNE was privileged to perform at the famous Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ. The venue is full of rock and roll history and considered to be a musical landmark by the industry for premiering artists such as Jon Bon Jovi, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, Little Stevens, John Eddie and of course Bruce Springsteen. The Pony continues its tradition in supporting local NJ bands by hosting the JERSEY STYLE WEDNESDAYS to showcase "New Jersey's Best New Talents". RED REYNE appeared with The PO POs, County Line, Eugene and Aaron Wilkinson. RED REYNE's original set included JUST A FANTASY, ALL ALONE, SEED OF HOPE, LET ME IN and THE LETTER. The band also acknowledged the fans request and out-of-respect to the Pony, covered Springsteen's BORN TO RUN. The band's version kicked and kicked HARD...the Boss would be proud! Ferdinand Jimenez (far right), formerly of Moonshine Grind, stepped in to fill the bass man role and kept the groove and bottom solid and intact. (posted 8/26/07) |

New Lineup and Strategy | ||
ED EYNE would like to wish Don Stone (bass) the best of luck on his future musical endeavors. The band and Don mutually agreed to part ways and seek other opportunities to better reach their artistic goals. Don was one of the original band member and instrumental in promoting the band in the Easton, PA music scene. The remaining members, Red, Jerry & John are focusing on their CD project, while searching to fill the bass slot(s) for the cover and original materials. In the meantime, occasional live shows will be scheduled based on the progress of their recording sessions. Ferdinand Jimenez, formerly of Moonshine Grind, will fill-in the bass parts of the live shows. Kevin Tracy, formerly of the Red Sun, have been occasionally seating in on the keyboards. Jeff Dembiak is contributing his musical "chops" by providing the bass tracks on the studio recordings. Things change all the time, but Rock 'n Roll keeps us movin' on and on ...... (posted 4/2/06) |
